Family Services Featured in NBC4's "Viewpoint"
On Sunday, September 28, 2008, Family Services, Inc. was featured on NBC4’s morning talk show called “Viewpoint”, hosted by Pat Lawson Muse. FSI Board Member and pediatrician Dr. Esther Pinder, Early Head Start Program Manager Monica Ortiz, and Early Childhood Training and Education Program Manager Helma Irving were guests during this 30 minute roundtable discussion. Topics of conversation included the Family Services organization and the work we do, the importance of early child development, school readiness, literacy and FSI’s 100th Anniversary Celebration.
