Gaithersburg becomes "Capital For A Day"
On November, 6, 2008, the City of Gaithersburg welcomed Governor Martin O'Malley along with Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown and members of Maryland State Cabinet. The day was filled with activities that would take them around the city, and planned stops at key places such as Gaithersburg High School, City Hall Concert Pavillion, and Family Services, Inc. Members of the cabinet enjoyed lunch while they viewed a presentation and talked to many of the leaders of our neighnoring non-profit partners, including HomeFree-USA, Guide Program, and The Dwelling Place.
